Cat shopping

dad, kakngah and i went cat shopping yesterday, and guess what we found!

a sphinx!

but since there are very few in msia, it wasnt up for sale. ugly right? but it's one of the sweetest cat ive ever met.

then we saw a cross breed between a munchkin and a bengol. which looks like a sausage dog (sausage cat?) short legs. cute! i fell in love with that one but too bad they're not cheap so i had to say goodbye.

we ended up with a.... not sure what it's called but i know it's an egyptian cat. short hair, sharp features and colour like a lioness. hyper as hell.

amy, if you're readin this, by the time u get back, our house will be a cat farm. brace yourself.

sally played juve while i used barca. honestly i was never a big fan of football but i like playing it real life and in video games. so i was trying to prove sally that it was easy breezy to beat her ass so i wore my shades. ahahah yeah. 1-0. dont get me wrong. im not at good. it's just that sally sucks. hahahah i heard she's been practicing lately. im always up for a rematch.

i love ted baker's outlet interiors. if u can notice, each one of them has their own theme. the one with the best changing room would be the one on collins street, melbourne. best counter i'd say the one in bangsar village. worst "folding" is the one at pavilion's. haha

pavilion's architecture? not great. not so bad either. something different. im sure gdp has done better projects. im curious to see the others.

i still prefer the house i saw somewhere near jalan gasing. minimalist, japanese architecture with beautiful yet simple materials of concrete, steel and glass. but then again, how can i compare such a massive project with a little one.

call me a dork but i went to starhill for the first time yesterday. love how they have the timber platform leading towards the eating areas. love the atmosphere. love the lighting. i think fluorescent lights would have killed it.

mind you im an architetcure student, not interior. and ive only completed my first yr. so im not an expert. and if u have other opinions, im happy to hear them.

i checked out klcc's petronas gallery and they're currently displaying works of 10 local women artists of this generation. unfortunately the place was closed when i was there. but do drop by if you happen to be in klcc.

hey guys. i know i've disappeared awhile. im loving melbourne. dont get me wrong, i havent forgotten malaysia. not at all. but i've learnt to accept this place. the changes around me. i'll be home soon. prolly end of this month. maybe earlier, maybe later. im not sure.

life after uni is great. the sem is over and i have almost 4 months to burn. planning to get a job in msia. been bumming around here shopping, watching dvds and playing winning E. and yeah, now that we just got guitar heroes, who needs to go out?

it's summer now. hotter than ever. you can see thongs, sunnies and bright coloured dresses and skinnies coming out. and the sale.. ahhh sale. awesome. but fuck, im broke. how effed is that.

RMIT architecture exhibition 2007

going to the exhibition and watching other studio's works made me feel a lil shitty but more motivated. i had james as my guide. met up with a few architecture friends and had a few heart attacks here and there. my fave studio would be the studio where they collaborated with the students taking textile design.. i think. still feel that i should've stayed longer tho.

i remember walking home from lygon and freaking out when i saw this. i couldnt stop looking behind me incase in came out from the wall. yea it's silly but imagine walking through a dark narrow alley with a few spotlights here and there and running into THAT. no way man.
