extended foto family

It has been more than 3 years since I got my first and only dslr. and lately i've been trying hard to find the right cameras for me to develop my hobby further. I'm just surprised with the amount of notes and reading I did in order to find the right one, if only I had this much perseverance with the other things I do in life. I havent found what I am looking for (whatever that is), but thats the whole idea of "treasure hunting". you always find the things that you least expect to. I do really appreciate them, it feels like I inherited something. and it's my responsibility to make full use of it. all the bargaining, asking for directions, etc is really helping with my German...

alright, let me introduce you to Zeiss Ikon Colora, a German camera made in the 1960s.
i've read about this brand. and a couple of things i kept in mind (thanks to my friends and the camera forums) was my checklist. shutter, which film it uses, etc etc. so that i wont end up buying junk.

could not find much information about this particular camera, so if u do know anything or even any interesting facts about film cameras it would be super duper. because I'm new at this and I want to learn! :)

and, I was lucky to find a lens compatible with my camera, Nikon 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5 AF. (photos above taken with the lense)

theres not much I can say about it, but i'm excited to take it outside and see what this baby can do. and if you're wondering which lenses I use, I think I've mentioned them before, but yeah if you're curious,

AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED (kit lense)

of course, the day would not be complete without me getting lost. even with a map in my bag.
